Hello friends! It's been a while since ive posted. I picked up a cage at a garage sale for really cheap and id like to repaint it. Not sure if this is even doable but I know that a lot of cages have powder epoxy coating on them.

Also if there's no solution. Oh well. They already have a nice cage as is and i could always get rid of the new one (its not being stored anywhere near the glider room yet, fwiw)

Heres recent pics of my babies. I love them soooooooo much. I remember telling yall how much I adore them shortly after bring them home. But damn.........I love them more each day.

You can use the rusteloeum (spelling?) brand spray paint, it's the appliance paint kind. I've used it to refinish an old wire bird cage I keep as a travel cage.

Just make sure to clean it really well and scrub off any rust before painting it. And of course let it cure for at least 48 hours before using it.

Granted, my travel cage doesn't get much use but the paint is holding up well and there hasn't been any chipping.

Thanks you three! I seem to log on here most often late at night after ive taken my sleep meds so if I ever repost the same pics a bunch of times im sorry LOL. I dont think I have yet tho. This board has helped me sooooooo much ever since joining. I dont know if I would have gone through with getting my babies if it were for yall.

Glideit - I'm going with that one! Thanks so much. It'll probably just be an emergency back up cage for if anything ever happens to the one theyre in. I'm very paranoid about their health.
