So I know standard frets range from 100-300$ but I was wondering about how much the other kinds range from? I've seen some go to 2,000$ or more but I can't find a list from cheapest to most expensive in color range so if anyone knows a website I can look on or if they know the price range it would be really helpful

It really depends on the location, age, color, hets, teemprement, lineage, breeder, rarity and if it's sold with breeding rights or as pet only.

I think the best way to get a basic range would be to look at thepetglider.com, that's pretty much the biggest decent breeder out there and you can see how much her gliders go for. They have all the categories for the different colors on there too.

I think the biggest price range is mosaics... You can get a pet only minimally marked mosaic for $400... And then there are the ritzy WOW pieds, cremino mosaics etc that are easily $2500-$3000 and up, depending all those variables I mentioned above.

For instance: A pet only, male, non lineaged older glider from a mill breeder is going to be your low range.. Whereas a breeding quality handtame Joey girl with multiple hets from multiple strong piebald mosaic lines from a reputable breeder is going to cost more.

There's always a hot new color coming down the tubes too... When there's only a handful of those colored gliders out there they sell for xthousands easily in the beginning, until the market gets more saturated with them and the price is driven down.

Basically, ballpark numbers from what I've seen:
- black beauties $350 - 450
- wfb $300 - 500
- leu $400 - 1000
- cremino $500 - 900+
- mosaics $400 - 3000+
- platinum $600 - 900+
- albino $700+
- ruby leu $1000+

Okay thank you, mosaic is what I was going for and I have seen sugar gliders on that website but I was double checking, if I got 2 females as pets only would I be allowed to change to breeding them later on or would I have to say that I'm getting them for breeding? Because if I got them on that website (which I may) I know there's only a section for breeding pair but if I want to get 2 females at first would I get them under the breeding section or pet section? Sorry I tend to ask too many questions on this forum lol I find out more stuff to ask everyday

Honestly it would be easier to go with the breeding rights up front.. You can do it either way just make sure it's known upfront that you may want the breeding rights in the future.. Some maybe cool with that and some not..Glideit is on point with the price range.. The only thing I will add about the Mosaics is that the higher end prices are tending to be with the stronger Pied lines because you never know when you could get the $4000 plus or minus joey. My one Mo cost me $1100 with 100% plat het and 25% creamino het. My cremino girl I got a deal at $900 and my new male I haven't even talked price but I'm expecting it to be over $1000 but his grandmother it one bad ass looking pied girl.. So like she said its all about what you want to do.. I have purchased mine to be my pets first but have also aligned them to "hopefully" produce some awesome babies!!! Oh and my other cage has a Platinum male with two true platinum mosaic girls that also have strong lines with know pied in them.. It's an expensive hobby that at the end of the day I may never see the "big" one but like I said these are my pets first!!

If you're planning on getting lineage, you'd have to buy breeding rights right off the bat. You can't really "add on" breeding rights down the road... Well I've never heard of a breeder allowing that to be honest.

Also, if you buy a "pet only" girl and don't buy her lineage then later try to get it, you might end up stuck with lines you don't want, since you're buying "blind" so to speak. Whereas with lineage off the bat you can have time to research your lines and find the best mate.

Plus I have a theory that some gliders listed as pet only without lineage come from sterile lines and that isn't something you want to get into. You wouldn't want to buy your girls then find out down the road you can't breed them for genetic reasons, especially if that's your plan.

It makes a lot of sense actually I'll just have to see what I can do later on. Thank you for all the info, mosaics seem to be the most liked besides classics. I just can't wait to get my girls even though it's months away!
