I'm looking for some standing glider or toddler toys for the gliders during bathroom playtime, but I'm not really sure what would interest them. I'm looking for a lot of texture and colors, but do you also recommend I get sound making ones? What do you notice your gliders are attracted to in a toddler toy?

My gliders like the little dollhouse style floor toys, we have a pirate ship, a barn, a castle, a rainforest scene and a giant house. Sometimes I put them in the bottom of the cage, but I like to use them in the tent more often for them to hide out in and jump on/off.

I try to stay away from rattly noisey toys as the gliders are close to my bedroom and they'd keep us up all night if I left anything like that in their cage!

My gliders tend to like toys that have treats hidden in them. Otherwise, they'll explore them when they are new, but they get bored of them quickly. So, anything with hidden areas I can drop treats into, or little spaces for dropping a dollop of yogurt gets their attention!

I've had playschool or little tikes stuff: playhouse, barn, castle, tree house and an Ark. The tree house, I modified and alternate in their cage along with the Ark. They love to grab food and hang out in or on top of those. The castle was in their cage once, but the other two, barn and playhouse were so big and were used for out of cage play. I ended up getting rid of the playhouse and barn when I had to travel and had to let a lot of stuff go, they didn't stay interested in them for too long anyway. The castle I still have, but believe it's still in storage along with the play gym I made them. I'm hoping one day to have room to keep them around where I can access them.

Mine like anything with holes big enough to crawl through. I like toys that are going to be easy to clean!

Thanks guys for your replies! That really helped me narrow down what i should get.

What do you guys suggest for gliders that chew? I'm thinking manzanita or eucalyptus branches may intrigue them. What do you think? My gliders either have not been interested in the toys I have, or have eaten them. I've been trying different types of toys every night and am running out of ideas.
