We had Totoro on a shelf by near bed. Well, I had mentioned how he would perch up on the side and not move for long periods of time. Well we ended up switching his and Cammi's spots. Toto since has been jumping around his cage, climbing on the branches I put in there, actually PLAYING with the balls and lil dinos in there. And after we moved Cammi, she was doing the same thing Toto did! Perching on the side and not moving. I moved her cage as well, and now she's playing and acting like herself again.
Has anyone ever experienced this? It's completely puzzling to me.

I haven't experienced it, maybe there was a draft or some smell that had them scared? I honestly don't know.

what about light? Is there a brighter light nearby?

The light could be it. One of our lamps was next to them. But we had an orange lightbulb in it, and it was verrry dim. So I didn't think it hurt their eyes. But I guess it did lol

I'm just happy that theyre actually running around and being playful. I was really starting to worry about Toto. I mean, could you imagine your glider just sitting on the side of the cage for HOURS. Now I can't remember what it was like WHEN he was like that :-p Cause from the moment he wakes up now, hes all over his new wodent wheel and playing with his toys and jumping around.
He's even being slightly less aggressive towards me.
I just wish I knew what was up with that spot. Maybe that one spot is haunted O.o
