I bought a toy from Exotic Nutrition to torture my kids with. It's called a "DOORS & DRAWERS FORAGING TOY" and can be found here:

I put some mealies in each of the four compartments and they went crazy working to get them out. At one point I had four gliders hanging on this thing. My only complaint is that it is made of slick plastic, and so I feel it should be hung low in the cage. There will probably be falls. Here are a few pics of my greedy gang trying to earn a mealie:

HEHE! Thats funny. My gliders fight over mealies so badly that if one got one out, that would just start a fight and its to bad because this looks like a really great toy. I'd buy it for sure. Like Rita said, did they figure it out? I bet that was fun to watch.

Oh yeah - They figured it out, or they accidentally opened the drawers in their fumbling and desperation. At any rate, the mealies are all gone this morning.

They become very smart when there are mealies involved!

Go and check out foraging and puzzle toys at our SugarGlider site store at Customparrots.com We have really neat foraging toys for your little ones. The ones at that store are made by the same place mine are from they love finding goodies. They are so good for you babies to hunt and find things. Great for the mind and exercise too!

I purchased one for my glider - just got it yesterday. I filled it with mealworms. He still hasn't figured it out. My daughter tried to help him out this morning by opening one of the drawers. He tried to cram his head in there to grab one, but his head wouldn't fit in there. The concept of using his little hand apparently is lost on him. LOL

Whatever you do, don't put a video of it on you-tube though....you'll just get flagged for animal cruelty!!
