I'm going to try and add to this thread later on and anyone else please feel free to add on as well. I'm hoping this will be a good thread to bookmark or print off so us HPW users can share balanced meal ideas. Here is what I came up with so far. If you add to this, please say what the overall ratio for each meal is.

1. HPW, Squash (Winter, All Variety), Spinach, Rasberries, Pear, Papaya - Ratio for this meal is 1.98:1

2. HPW, Papaya, Raisins (seedless), Watercress, Okra, Grapes (American, slip skin)- Ratio is 1.88:1

3. HPW, Broccoli Spears, Okra, Figs, Apple w/ skin, Tofu (firm), Papaya - Ratio is 1.87:1

4. HPW, Lemon, Figs, Squash (Winter, All Variety), Spinach - Ratio is 2.16:1

5. HPW, Prickly Pear, Apple w/ skin, Watercress, Papaya - Ratio is 2.28:1

yeah they look great! Just be careful not to use too many fruits and veggies that are high in oxalates. If they are then it makes the body unable to process the calcium in the food. I think spinch is one that might be high, maybe you could go for snow peas or green beans. This is just what I have heard, im not 100% sure :)

I will be making more. I couldn't find prickly pear ANYWHERE so I may change that one. I did find figs though. Anyway, I'll post more when I get to making them! And NO PROBLEM at all!! We need something like this.

Alright, on the meal above that has Prickly Pear in the ingredient, if you can't find that you can substitute with a valencia orange, they have the same ratio so it does not change the ratio of that meal.

Here is another meal with easy to find ingredients.

HPW, Mustard Spinach, Cucumber w/ skin, Rasberries, seedless raisins, pear. Overall Ratio is 2.13:1

I'm trying to get ratios AS CLOSE to 2:1 as possible. I think I'm doing a decent job too!! I hope this helps you guys, I know something like this would have really helped me. But now that I'm understanding the ratios I have no problem keeping this up. I'm sure if someone more experienced with ratios notices I'm doing something wrong they will chime in. (I HOPE)

OK I think I finally get it. I couldn't find all of the ingredients that you posted so I bought what I could and figured it out. Wish I could find figs! I swear I see them all the darn time! Couldn't find papaya either. ??

BUT I am just mainly happy that I FINALLY have it fugured out.

Tisha you do rock because you helped tremendously!!!

Edited: I took my meal off because mustard GREENS are NOT the same as mustard SPINACH and my ratio is way off. Now I gotta go find something high in calcium to up the ratio!

Feel like a ding dong!

Glad I could help!! I DONT think mustard greens and mustard spinach are the same. On the ratio chart Mustard Spinach is said to have a 7.5:1 ratio and Mustard Greens have a 2.4:1 ratio. So be aware of that!!

For papaya I order dried papaya from exoticnutrition.com. Also, I found figs at Akins which is an organic food store. Check to see if you have any organic stores near you. Mine LOVE the figs!!

HOW MUCH of each of the fruits and vegetables are you using?

The amount of each food determines the amount of calcium and phosphorus to be added to determine the ratio of the combination.

I was taking a quick look around at some old postings on diet and saw all the great comments... didn't even think to check their math. Thanks Candy
Maybe someone can play around with the calculator and adding some other foods to get the ratios correct?? Or just leave well enough alone, I cannot decide.. cause I know it takes a long time to get it all just right :D
