A friend of mine who has had gliders for quite sometime told me that when mixing up her suggies meals for the night that when the recipe calls for water she subs. plain natural soy milk. Is this ok to do? Her suggies seem to be in very good health, I just wonder if anyone else has done this or tried this or have heard of anything like this. Thank you for your replies!

Soy is a controversial food. Here are a couple of negative points of view:

I haven't found anything except on-line stores and forums to recommend soy for sugar gliders. (I haven't spent a lot of time looking.) My advice is to do some research, with authorative sources like universities and dieticians; and then come back and let us know what you've found.

I wouldn't... it could throw off the Ca:Ph ratios....

Also as Snusie said, it's highly debated.... Better safe than sorry IMO!
