I have the sturdy cage from suncoast, which measures 36" tall x 32" x 21". I want a taller cage but I want one that is the same width and depth because I feel that anything smaller would be too small. I want to spend less than $200 including shipping but i guess i could go over if i must

I'd also really like it if the cage had locks like the sturdy cage. on the sturdy cage, the locks are unlocked in the "up" position, and completely locked with the lock all the way down making it difficult for anyone to forget to lock or for anyone to just push up against on and unlock. every big cage that i've seen does not have locks like this.

I would like it to be sturdy enough for a sidemounted stealth and big enough for 2 gliders...36 inches just seems too small.

That was my first cage. It was a hand me down and had been used by my breeder. I used it for almost a year and passed to on to someone else when I purchased a new cage. So yes, it should last for more than a year. The ones I have now I like better. It is just my personal preference. This is the one that I have http://cgi.ebay.com/Bird-ferret-chinchilla-sugar-glider-rat-cage-cages-3997_W0QQitemZ330410946217QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item4cee06eea9#ht_1939wt_1167
Hope this helps.

is the cage that you got from ebay huge??? i have the gliders in my bedroom right now since i'm still living at home and i'm also looking for a bigger cage but i'm unsure of what cage to go with. i want a decent size one but i don't want it to be so big that it takes up half of my room (which isn't very large by any means).

The aviantelligence is a good cage. It is only 18 inches deep though. The latches on it are like these:

I switched them out and put on Window Sash Locks:

I feel safer with these and was afraid my GliderKids would be able to flip the original style locks open if they were not slid over to fully lock.

The pan that comes with the Aviantelligence cage is also too small for the space under the cage. I replaced the pan with a deeper one from Martin's Cages. Their 18 x 30 x 2.5 deep pan fits perfectly and is snug against the bottom grate of the cage.

I have 4 gliders in it and they have plenty of room.
