my poor little man got his snippity snip today - he did really well, but I had them put on the ecollar to be totally safe. i've got a small cage set up next to my bed and i just took him out of the travel pouch a little bit ago. He looks soooooooooo aggrevated!! He keeps trying to pull it off, he is just standing there. He can't get in a pouch, or under any blankets - I feel so bad for him.
I'm gonna feed him with a syring in a while, earlier than normal and then give him the metcam (sp?) - do you think that will help him sleep?
Yes, I'm leaving the light on and I'll probably be up 100 times tonight.

he will sleep on his own, but the metacam will help with the pain. Just don't give more than what the vet says... You can put him in-between fleeces - fust put them on top of him. He should be able to pull them on top of himself even with the e-collar. you can syringe feed a mixture of juice, yogurt and honey for a day or two...
