I'm sorry to bug you all with this but I really need someone to talk to I'm supposed to be the strong one in the family I'm the one people go to for support and comfort but I'm hurting and having a really hard time keeping it together my grandmother has been sick off and on for about 2 months my mom aunt cousin and I have been taking care of her taking turns staying with her 24/7 last night I was there and she started calling for help she was having a hard time breathing by the time an ambulance got there she was 5 min from death I was terrified and was told to stay calm for her benefit at the hospital they said she's terminally ill and has at most 2 months to live she has 8 children 36 grandkids and I don't know how many great grandkids but everyone's taking it really hard she is an amazing woman please keep us in your prayers

Those are difficult things to go through. It sounds as if you have lots of family...don't try to always be the strong one. Allow others to offer you a should to lean on too. I will be saying prayers for you and your grandmother. Hugs to you!

You can't always be the strong one and hold it all in, it will drive you crazy, I was always the strong one in my family too, but sometimes you have to let it out. I am so sorry you have to go thru this, I know it will be hard, but I know you will need to for yourself and your family. Prayers sent your way for you and your grandmother. I just read a book called Proof of Heaven by Eben Alexander. He is a neurosurgeon who was in a coma for 7 days and had a near death experience. He is convinced what he experienced was what awaits us in the afterlife. It was a very good book, a short read and may offer you comfort. You could even read it to your grandmother.
