I have two fixed males. I've then a little over 3 weeks. Most of the pictures are of the classic style glider because he is the holdable cuddly cute one. The other is a bit nervous and aggressive and hard to hold. Soon I hope to get pictures.. I will post new thread about that to see how Black beauty he looks to you. He also has brown tones and is alot different from the calm classic male shown below.

Jess, it looks like a Stealth. The Raptor wheels are also similar. They come with the side cage mount or the stand shown in his pics. I think from the pictures you have posted I can only see a satellite dish type wheel. Some gliders are okay with these, but when you see a glider in action they really need a specific wheel such as the one shown for their style of jump/run and their tail length. Non glider specific wheels have a long list of injuries and horror stories. These wheels are well worth the cost, are practically silent and are very sturdy. You can just google them...I think there is one other brand I'm forgetting...but, someone will come along with the name, I'm sure.

Yes it's like a satellite dish I have two of them, they are quite safe but very noisy as my gliders bang it around the cage. I've hear raptor wheels can cause tail injuries? Yes/no?

It is the Wodent Wheel that has a fixed axle through the center of the wheel and hamster wheels on metal stands that act like scissors when the cross bar of the wheel meets the stand frame that have been responsible for many sugar glider tail injuries.

Raptor wheels are very glider safe. I think the one shown in the photos in this thread are actually either a Raptor or a Fast Track.

The stealth wheel has the head of a bolt showing inside the 'bucket lid'. I have 6 stealth wheels that are now 5 to 6 years old and still silent.

Here are the links for glider safe wheels:

You guys know better then I do about the wheel. It came with a kit I got from the breeders. I do know that they love it.

Yes, that is a white tip for sure. The white tip is on the black beauty which is actually colored brownish. Its a weird glider. Its not friendly yet either. The one that is curled up in and in all the photos is the friendly classic glider.

The reason I don't have pictures of white tip is I can barely hold him still, if at all.
