Gmorning Kferg
What a great update

Sounds like Thor is your sentinel of the colony, his job is to stay in or near the pouch watching over his colony

They don't usually play a whole lot or use the wheel as much as their colony members. It's fascinating to me how much their jobs within the colony

reflects in their behaviors..
I used to think my Simon was my shy guy, even in out of cage time he was and still is content to just sit on my shoulder and watch over Leela and Nicky.
I used to think he just didn't know how to play or he was to mature to be playful.
Now I've learned that's not it at all, his job is to guard the nest and his colony and he will do that even when he's not in the cage, he is my sentinel.
He's not shy, he's just doing his job. That's also why when Leela or Nicky escape the cage, Simon alerts me ( I used to think he was just a snitch

) He's doing his job, he is concerned that his cage mates are out and about and wants them returned to the cage where he can keep a watchful eye on them. I can literally leave all 4 doors of the cage wide open and he will not come out and explore.
And yes, we must not forget to reward our little watch dogs with treats especially when they take their jobs so seriously most of the time.
I'm glad things are going so well for yall
