My glider is new to me. He's 3 years old and been given only apples and a few oranges for fruit. I read that they like diversity, so I've been feeding him small amounts of other fruit (mango, bananas, kiwi, blackberries). I've been doing this for about 2-3 weeks now, along with his nightly apple, but today I noticed him eating poop. Then i noticed one piece was diarrhea, the rest today have been normal. Could this just be due to the new fruits? Should I introduce the new fruits one at a time, slower? I do wash the fruit and he hasn't eaten any seeds.

You really need to get him on a good healthy diet.

several websites have them listed.

HPW / BML / and more are available.

these diets provide the glider with the vitamins and calcium and such they
REALLY REALLY need.

I have him on Glide-R-Chow, which is what he's been on for all 3 years.

If your sticking with PP diet, you need to have him on glide-r- gravy also.
That is the good stuff that is really (hpw - critterlove complete).
you can see info on critterlove webpage about it.

poor diet doesn't mean he will die, just 3 years on unhealthy diet.
Critter love also has some salad combinations that offer a great and healthy
veriaty to your glider of fruits and veggies. Has the right calcium/phosphate proportions.

Well I do give him glide r gravy but it's more of a treat. Should I give it every night instead? It says every night 1 tablespoon but I just thought that was more of a "max" thing.

I feed Ohpw which is almost the same thing. for that it is 1 tablespoon per 2 gliders every night. For critter love I think it was 1 tablespoon for 1 glider every night. glider gravy is the more expensive same thing as critter love.
