My sugar gliders were playing in the bathroom and were climbing the shower curtain but one of them tried to jump across and land on this tiny ledge that is the height of the curtain, maybe 7 feet high, but she couldn't grip it and fell onto the tub floor. Will she be okay falling from this high? I won't be playing with them in there again without some nice comfy blankets but she got right back up and kept playing so I just want to make sure I don't need to worry about a head injury or any internal problems. I'm so worried since I haven't had them for long. I already feel as if I'm failing them as a mother.

I understand your fear and how you feel. I can't say whether your glider is or will be okay, but it's possible that she could be. If she's acting fine still, I'd worry less, but keep watching and take to vet at first sign of anything wrong. If you'd rather more reassurance, you may want to take her to vet for check up anyway.

I can tell you from experience, I know how you feel, only I felt worse and here's why:

My Skadoosh had always been the adventurous one out of my girls. She'd find the highest point she could climb and then glide down to me, where my Lulu would be more timid about it. One bathroom play time (long ago), my Skadoosh had climbed up to the top of the medicine cabinet (she did that a lot). At the same time, my Lulu climbed to the top of the shower curtain and was on the rod, she had just started doing this. Though my bathroom was small, I still needed to take one step closer to the tub for my Lulu to glide/jump down to me. I looked at Skadoosh and she didn't look ready to launch at that moment so I stepped closer to Lulu, who instantly glided/jumped down to me. At the exact moment I stepped away towards Lulu, Skadoosh launched from top of the cabinet. I wasn't ready for Skadoosh, as she hadn't appeared to be ready, and she plummeted down to the floor. Now the bathroom floor was hard, but it was laminate and there was a rug, so that helped probably a little. I rushed and picked her up and she seemed okay, she moved around normally, but didn't trust me the same. She's just now starting to trust jumping to me, I'm hoping she gets back to her old self.
