Today I tried making my little turds a toy.

How is it? I've never made a toy before. They seem to like it. I use the hotdog basket thing, bracelets, ribbon, an egg and ball, fleece scraps, pompoms, straws, and a stuffed animal. I bought the basket and brackets today at Walmart which costed me $2 and the rest of the stuff I had in my house. It's an inexpensive toy. I'm just not sure if it's a good toy.

Any tips or recommendations to make this toy or future toys better? Also where do you guys buy a lot of the stuff you use to make your toys? I tried the dollar store... I only like the cat toys there.

looks good, may want to replace the ribbon with that craft lace stuff for beads(tough to knot though) or plastic chain links.
one of my guys love those circle/bracelet things, he fills the pouch with them...even if they are connected to the cage for climbing

I would replace the ribbon, nail snag hazard, you could maybe use fleece.

I typed in plastic links on google, got results at target, walmart, and amazon.

Good luck,
toy looks cool.

The Sugar Glider Store website has plastic chain in the toy parts section. Or, You could get plastic rex lacing at the craft store.
