Hello! I have 2 gliders, Lulu and Lily. I noticed today that Lulu's poop was a white/yellow color. Everyday both gliders are given pelleted food, insectivore-fare moist pelleted food, high protein pellets and mixed within that is calcium powder and Instant-HPW. Along with that they also get fresh fruits and vegetables. They're only about 5 months old. This is the first time that I am noticing this color change. I was playing with them both yesterday and they seemed completely fine. The only thing I could think of is Lulu did eat more yogurt drops then normal yesterday. (Whenever I have them out of their cage to play, I feed them yogurt drops for a snack, but when they are in their cage they get dried fruit for snacks). Does anyone know why this color change could be happening? Could it be because of to many yogurt drops? Or is it something more serious?

Thank you for your help!!
Amanda

Sorry you haven't received a reply yet. I'm guessing the color change is due to diet, like you said, maybe the yogurt drops. If you cut back on them and notice a difference you'll know that's what it is. I've noticed changes in my gliders poop based on what I'm feeding them. Sometimes certain fruits will make it lighter. Once the vet was surprised when she saw it was green. It's never been anything serious but a call/visit to your vet may give you peace of mind.

Sorry, I can't say 100% for sure, but I have a couple of adult boys who talked me into way more yogies than usual one day last week and sure enough a day or two later we have lots of yellowish poop! I seriously cut down the yogie dosage since that one wild day! They don't have any symptoms or bad signs so I'm pretty confident that's what caused it. I'm keeping an eye on them to make sure they are playing, eating, and drinking to make sure the color goes back to "normal". Lulu and Lily are younger so I'm sure it would take less to affect their poop.
