I don't think they'll try, they'll mimic their parents and learn the cage boundaries, so unless they go through accidentally they probably won't. I kept mine in a cage with too wide of a bar spacing once while visiting relatives. The smaller one didn't escape until I opened a side door to let them out, then he squeezed through the bars there every night to come visit me. He could have gotten out anywhere but didn't seem to realize it, since he always chose that spot. The other didn't bother escaping since he's not as much of a visiting sort but I'm sure if he had felt like it he'd have come out too.
