Hello,
I'm new to the form and new to sugar gliders. I'm doing research on various foods that are safe for sugar gliders. I've seen a few post about feeding maple syrup (boiled processed finished product.) However, I was curious about feeding raw unprocessed maple sap. (Maple syrup straight off the tap, without being boiled down.) Has anyone ever fed this? Pros and Cons? Thanks

As far as I know, as long as it is pure maple syrup and nothing else the glider should be fine. The only concern with maple syrup is that the darker store sold ones usually have coloring and other concentrated ingredients. If it is just syrup then it won’t mayter if it is raw or not as sugar gliders can also eat raw honey no problem.
