My female has two joeys in her pouch due to come out in the next week. Is it ok to have her in my pocket and carry her around places? She would have to be separated from the dad since he can't be put in a pouch

Dont do anything with her that you normally wouldn't do... you dont want to stress her out... :(

It's ok to carry your gliders around in a bonding pouch during the day while they sleep. But separating her from her partner could stress her out. Is there any specific reason why you can't put your male in a bonding pouch?

My male is a rescue. He had never been in a pouch before and he goes psycho if I put him in one. Believe me I've tried but it never gets better and it makes him so angry and stressed when he's in it. So I don't want her to panic if they are separated. But then she always just falls right to sleep when she's in my pocket. Should I just wait til she has the joeys and they get a little older?

Well I guess I know the answer. Joeys are oop today. One mosaic and one standard :)

It is ok to carrie her around but be very gentle with her, she may be protective of the joeys. I carried my female around while she had babies and the family is doing well!

I think its the best way to teach the babies that you are safe and good but I'm afraid that by separating them my male will get stressed out and possibly the mom with being separated from him. I know them well enough. I guess I will just watch their reactions and go from there.
