The goal of this license is to provide free information, free redistribution of that information, and to make sure that the information remains free and accessible. As an example, someone could take all of the information in the Gliderpedia and publish a book of its contents. Everyone is free to do that, but the twist is in the Attribution and Share Alike requirements. The book would fall under the very same license that allowed it to be freely printed in the first place, so even if someone tried to sell the book, not much money would be made because anyone could photocopy the book and share copies of it freely under the same license.

If you plan to share or remix this work, you'll need provide some information in order to comply with the license.
