Important Notes:
  • The BML diet is an Americanized reformulation of a diet known as Modified Leadbeaters supposedly used by the Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia. [Bourbon]'s earliest known public posting of the diet was on 25 Nov 1998. Sugarglider.com archives

  • BML strictly uses Rep-Cal as a general vitamin supplement which is known to use Menadione as a source for Vitamin K (K3 actually). Menadione has been banned for human consumption by the FDA as well as in use with any animals consumed by humans. Yet, it is still widely used in pet quality food products including supplements, canned food, dry kibble food and so forth.
