"Wing Clipping" in sugar gliders is reference to cutting the
[PATAGIUM patagium] so that it cannot form a wing to fly thus making it harder
for the animal to flee from human control. It may very well be myth, but it has
even recently been said that some owners have "clipped" their pet
sugar glider wings.

Clipping the patagium is not a valid thing to do and will only result in an
animal living in pain and being extra afraid of human contact.
