Last night she wasn't playing very much.I was worrying all through the night.She wasn't dehydrated or anything.I went to sleep around 2 and set my alarm for 4 to check on her.It was freezing!No wonder she wasn't jumping around.I turned the heat up and checked on her,she had eaten almost all her food (thank gosh).I gently petted her and she looked up at me with these huge eyes.I put a little felt blanket on her,it was so soft.She's all warmed up now.I feel badly that I let it get so cold!Next time I'll be sure to set the heat.

I heard her bark for the first time the night before last.Actually it woke me up...I can't quite figure out why she did it.

I like to read,write,and I've recently discovered a love for animals.I always liked them,but the responsibility that came with them wasn't worth it.I've come to accept that responsibility as totally worth it.To know that you have made an animal healthy and happy is reward enough. My name is Katie.I'm a capable,caring,aware individual.I have very strong opinions about things that I have educated myself on,but my mind is open to new ideas and opinions.When I don't know about something that presents it's self I like to gather as much information and opinions on the subject as I can.I believe that once you have an animal it is your responsibility to take care of it,even if you get bored with it or it's personality takes a turn for the worse.My mother once got rid of a cat she had,had because it was being unfriendly and didn't like being touched.I still felt that she had an obligation to provide that cat with care and love even if she didn't get it back.People don't seem to realize that animals can be just as diverse as people.
