AsaBailey We are new to gliders, we inherited one from a friend who's husband passed, it was his. He had him for about a year, the first week he would not let us hold him and made the most awful noise. We read somewhere to hang a shirt that we had worn on his cage so our smell was always present, I hung one up for myself and my sister. one night he had pulled mine into the cage and was actually sleeping in it. From then on I can get him out easily, we had friends over one day he wouldn't let them just pick him up but if we left him in my shirt we could pass him to our friends and he would let them pet him and would eventually explore up their arms and shoulders. hope this gives you another idea.

kare_1818 how long have you inherited the glider? if you haven't had it for long than you probably just need to give it a little time for it to get use to you like how you smell and depending on the previous owner if the glider was handled at all.
