 Please help

Hello, I just got two new female sugar gliders. I honestly took them in as pets because I saw pictures and knew someone who had one before and thought they were the cutest things ever. But now since I have inherited two I'm not sure I know the right basics of care for them. I have been researching a lot but everything is so contradicting one page says one thing and the other the opposite. I just want to take the best care of them as possible and make sure they are ok. I don't want to hurt them in any way they are so tiny and fragile looking. Any tips or suggestions or dos or donts from fellow glider owners for a new glider mommy?

As you can tell I'm lost with this I didn't think they were this much work but I'm fully ready for the challenge. Also If I let them run around my house will they try and hide somewhere I'm afraid to let them out much except in a small room because I'm afraid I will loose them or can't find them until it's too late... Ehhh first time sugar baby drama lol

Ok thank you and yes so far diet has been the most concerning to me as I see sooo many dos and donts. They are about 9 months now and the people I got them from did not know anything about them and I'm afraid they weren't in best health. As its bad enough poor Lilly has only one eye but I love her all the same. I can't trust what they tell me they have been feeding them except I know they have been giving them bird food! I removed that and have been giving them strawberrys blueberries raisins bananas and some melons I gave them a grape today yet after reading the controversy on grapes I may not again. I diced it up real tiny to almost a purée? Is that right? Do the need meats? I want to keep them on a good diet, also do you know how much is too much I don't want to be an over feeder!? Should I get vitamin supplements or calcium supplements?

oh and feel free to message me if I don't see your response. Journal entries only show the first post and not the comments unless you click on them and I sometimes forget to check back

Welcome to the forum, and you just opened Pandora's box lol just kidding. It can all be overwhelming, confusing and yes contradictory. However it would help bunches if you narrowed down what exactly you need to know. Diets are usually the biggest confusion makers, but without knowing specifics it's hard to know how best to assist you. Do you have specific questions or concerns??
