My sugar glider is very still and is chirping. Not a whole lot though. I've been wondering why it's been twitching in its pouch alot. Even when I try to touch them from the outside of the pouch they crab. What is wrong?

ashlynnq Are you bonded with them yet?? If not I put mine in a tent and went in with them and let them get to know me. Maybe they are crabbing because they aren't use to you?? Just an idea :)

BYK_Chainsaw i think nothing is wrong.
our gliders groom themselves in pouch often, so they move around in pouch to groom.
crabbing is to scare away bad things, they can NOT see you, you are an unknown bad thing attacking their pouch, they crab to scare you away. when I look in the pouch, depending on bonding they stop crabbing. I have 3 that will crab if I talk to them, but if I open pouch and they see me, they stop.
