I've looked at getting a Glider for a few years now just never went and got any. A friend of mine was over and had stated a friend of hers had one that she was looking to give to someone. I told her I would take it in. Her name is Fury and she is 8 years old. She has been feeding her "chicken flavored" baby food in the mornings, fruit yogurt in the evenings, with Vitakraft high protein formula in a bowl as well. Do I need to change her diet? All she had in her cage was a towel for her to corral in to sleep, a water bottle for a ferret, and a plain plast hamster wheel. What toys do they like the most? Going to get her a sleeping pouch this weekend. As well as, building her a new bigger cage that I found on this site of PVC pipe. Also she runs around in her cage a lot. Is this good? We have tried to let her out, she climbed around on us for a good bit, and loves crawling inside my Fiances hoodie and curling up. Should we handle her more with our hands and let her crawl around on us? Or keep her corralled up? I was told that she had two of them and the other one passed away. Do they mourn the loss of a friend? I am a brand new owner. Never had any before this one. I appreciate all the help. Thank you in advance.
