 Sugar Glider siblings

Hello All, I had a geriatric glider of 11 years, received her @ 3 yrs of age. She past today. I purchased two 2 month old babies yesterday. (I hvnt had babies) One male and one female. I was reading in the gliderpedia and it says they can mate at 4.5-6 months old. Will a bonded brother and sister mate? Is that a thing? Someone also told me that since they've been together since birth they will not mate. I'm totally not prepared to have babies having babies!! :0 with that being said, what do I need to do?? They are bonding with me already. I'm worried if I separate them they will become depressed and potentially mean.

Get your male neutered! animals don't necessarily have the same familial sense that humans do. A glider in heat is a glider in heat and a male around that will take advantage of it. so the best thing I'd say to do is as soon as you can, get him neutered. You can't neuter a female, so don't stress about her.
