 Good Stuff <3 =)

So today i cleaned my gliders cage. That was interesting...had to take all the toys out and put em all back in there. Well i rearranged all their toys and pouches. So when they got put back in there they freaked out. Not a bad freaked, but a curious freaked. They started crawling, jumping, and sniffing. They crawled in eacch and everything they could. Then they would go into a pouch. Then come back out and do the same thing=) It was the cutest thing i have ever seen. When they finally got done being goofy they got in their pouch and made that chirping sound...the happy sound they call it. It made my day, it really did!! I Love Them LiL Babies "]

 I want...

To buy a new cage set for my gliders!! they would love that. i was looking at some rlly cute ones on ebay that i can buy. and they are pretty cheap too. i would make the fleece ones....but i have no idea how and it would probably be cheaper to buy them then to make them cuz im pretty sure that cloth is kinda expensive. when i get a job im gonna start buying my babies all kinds of stuff AFTER i fix everything on my car. i was also wondering, you can feed gliders boiled chicken, but can you give them grilled? I've never tried chicken at all but i know its good for protein. they don't like boiled eggs. i tried to give them some and they didnt even touch them. it seems like they mostly like to eat their fruits and veggies. i keep dry food in their cage but they rarley ever touch it. what exactly do yall feed your babies? do yall feed them dry food. i actually bought them sugar glider food but they dont really like it. im pretty positive they didnt even touch it. now i just have to figure out what to give them for protein since they dont eat eggs, and i want to know if i can feed them grilled? well leave me comments pleas. thanks

 Sugar Glider Food=)

So today i got to go to the pet store. Since where i live we dont have a pet store. But i bought them food that is like little balls and it said it was actual sugar glider food. And it stinks REALLY bad! My babies are getting more bonded i believe. When it storms they tend to bark. Does yours do that? I know dogs do that when their scared. And i guess thats why my babies do it. They really ever bark. They mostly sneeze, chirp, and crab...I just wish they could actually just play without barking.

 =)My Babies

I think they are getting more bonded with me. They were climbing on me and then they stopped moving and actually say there on my shoulder. It was pretty nice. I really need to get their nails clipped though & i don't want to do it myself. They are eating good =) And playing well, so they are doing good. I tried the sports bra thing and it hurt so badd....they scratched me all up :(

 Fun

I love taking my sugies out and playing with them. Except for the fact: When i take them out they pee and poop like instantly cuz they had just woke up & them leave little scratches on me. And they try to bite.
But right now i'm letting them roll around in their balls and play. I let them explore a little in my room and climb on me and all that good stuff.
And im leaving a pair of shorts in their cage so they can smell me.
I really really need to get their nails clipped....

OH man i hope i didnt hurt her

I was just gonna try to clip their nails myself.
And i watched a video how to do it so i was doing it too.
And i know on all animals you have to be careful not to cut to far.
So all i was doing was cutting the tips of them
And their middle finger is kinda thick and i cut the tip of it on Stormys and her nail started to bleed a lil.
What did i do wrong!!!???

 Really need.....

I have had my Sugar Gliders for exactly three months! I haven't been on here in a while to update so now i'm going to. I do not think my sugar gliders are getting bonded with me. I TRY to take them out to play but they don't want to. They play in their cage. They love that. I have a wheel in there. Straws. Some little baby toys. A ball with a bell in it. A ribbon. Two bird things. The little bars that they stand on. Some koozies. Cuz they love to play in them. Two pouches and another pouch i made for them. I feed them berries. Unsalted nuts. And some berry mix stuff that they really love to eat. Some hamster looking food. Dried banana chips. Carrots. Grapes. Lettuce. Apples. Etc. They make little noises sometimes. Like a chirp. And their both girls so they can't mate. They are sisters. And their three years old. I got them July 10th and their still not bonded with me. They were with their owner for three years. And i dont have a sugar glider safe room...But i use my bathroom and just close the toilet seat. There is nothing they can get into or hide in in there. Just things they can climb on. And i bring a little cage thing that they climb on. I feed them well...They seem happy. But its soooo hard to play with them. Because their nails are REALLY sharp and i have TONS of whit scars all over my body after every time they climb on me. I don't understand why. But i cant get anyone to clip them until they get calm enough and bonded with me. I love them to death. And they never just let me hold them. Does any of yours just let you strictly hold them??? They do not stay in one spot. And when i try to get them out of the cage they dont want to come out and they jump everywhere so i cant catch them. Then when i finally get them out thet jump right back onto their cage. I dont know what im doing wrong. But whats really cute is that they sit by a table i hve and i put my clothes on that table and every morning when i wake up a piece of my clothes are always in their cage. Its like they smell me and try to get my clothes in there with them?! lol. And they dont bite me as much or shall i say nibble. But they still do. I just need an easier way to get bonded with them so they will actually play with me and MAYBE stay still! So pleaseee any advise would be nice =)) Comment AsAp plzz

 Update & Questions ?!

So i have now had my sugar gliders for about....a month. And they still are not bonded with me. They still nibble...And they like to play with me but not a lot....I put a hamester wheel in their cage and they dont get in it? I dont know really any other toys to get them! I have some ribbons...Some straws...Some cat toys...But what else should i get that they would be more than happy with! I love them to death...they are the best animals ever...and i never leave them at my house when i go somewhere for the night! They have also been making these noises...not crabbing...not barking...but its kinda like a squeaky hissing noise! Does anyone know what that is? & i also am curious...what more could i do for them to bond with me?! How long did it take you?!

 Straws.

I was reading on here earlier that sugies like drinking straws. So i put a few of them in Roxy & Stormys cage and the love them. They don't have very many play toys but i've also heard they like to play with baby toys and cat toys...so i also put in a cat ball that jingles in their cage and they like that too..I want to MAKE them new pouches because theirs stink so bad and i hate wearing them around my neck because they stink ;p. But i was wondering does anyone have any advise what i should put in their cage that is safe and fun for them to play with and enjoy? I love them so much and they are just the cutest animals ever! I want to spoil them rotten ;]

 Gliderss...

So i have had my sugar gliders for three weeks now! They seem to be adjusting very well. The lady i bought them from left me a list as to what they eat...[She had them for three years before i bought them on July 10th] We have no pet stores down here where i live so i can't buy actual sugar glider food. These are the foods she told me to feed them====!Carrots,apples,catfood,birdseeds,pecans,nuts-unsalted,dried banana chips, dried carrots,lettuce...====! So anyone have any advise to this or some place i can ored their food from that is not to expensive. Or maybe someone knows the closest pet store to where i live. I live in Mabank Tx. They also like to nipp me a lot. They are very active during the night i can hear them. So that's a good sign that they are adjusting to me right?! Theyy really enjoy the bird seeds and the apples the most.I also give them this grass stuff...its called...Pure & natural alfalfa...And on the package it says its good for all small animals and its a great source of fiber so should i continue fedding them this or no? They dont bark much either....and theyy dont really stink either and are not that messy. Roxy loves to escape under my bed because it's reall dark. But any comments or positive advise please tell me. I would love to hear some gret advise to help me make my babies lifes as happy as possible...
