I have been reading and posting on this board for some time now, and I have NEVER seen this many gliders for sale because people get them and then realize they don't have the time, patience, knowledge or money to keep them.
Please, Please do the research BEFORE getting your SG. They are expensive to begin with, and as all of you have found out, they are very "high maintenance" pets.
My 1st glider was an impulse buy so I do understand how it happens. The difference I'm seeing is that there are many young people getting them before they realize just how expensive and time consuming they can be.
Just my nickel's worth.
