If anyone is in the St. Petersburg, FL area and needs help cutting their gliders nails, I am always happy to help and show you how we do ours. I wrap them in a towel and can cut all 6 of my gliders nails in about 10 minutes. I think I just got tired of being scratched. Let me know if I can help!

Latest update, both my wife and I sprayed it on our hands and she took our two original gliders and took the two boys. She held them in their pouch and petted them and held them in the pouch and only had one bite and it was not a hard bite. They licked her and snuggled up to her hand and were gentle. The two boys were wired but they just licked my fingers except one time that Leo decided that he wanted out of my hand and bit it but it was not as hard as normal. We are going to try it again later and see how they act. Maybe this stuff does work to some degree!?!

The way I feel like this stuff is working is its mildly drugging the glider, like a cat with cat nip. If they are were acting weird and licking the stuff it doesnt sound like a bonding potion, but a glider attracting potion. I dont see how it would help them bond because they need to trust you when their sane hahaha. I dont think I am going to get any. I wonder if they can become so use to the smell of the potion that they bond to it thinking its you and then when you dont use it and they dont recognize your regular smell and attack? hmmmm

Very good question. I think that there maybe a possibilty that they wouldn't know you as well if you are not wearing this.

I got mine but I'm now on vacation at the beach and my mom is glider sitting. I have a cold and sprayed some on me and said gee it doesn't smell like anything I hope it's not just water! Then got my mom and boyfriend to smell it, they both coughed and gagged and said it's pretty strong. Lucky for my stuffed nose! Anyway I sprayed a bit on my hands and they seemed intrigued. I really want to try it with nail trimming when I get home!

well Lisa, the person who sells it says that the smell is not long lived, its just meant to de-stress the gliders and then the scent is not stronger than yours so it just gives them more time getting used to your scent without being so stressed [ I kinda paraphrased] Catnip is meant to be pleasant to cats and make them go crazy so its not the same as this someone else on GC also mentioned that lavender has a similar effect on us but is not considered a drug nor is it harmful to us except in large concentrated quantities so I think if it works, people who have had trouble with their gliders could at least Try this

Sounds great. I bet it would work for nailtrimming than.

Just got mine yesterday, but I haven't had to trim Dizzy's nails yet. There's really no reason for me to use it until then I guess.
