Ooooh this would make nail trimming heavenly! I imagine you could also spray their carrier before travel or stressful vet trips. The ladies can spray it down their shirts for bra training!
"What's that wonderful fragrance you are wearing ma'am?" "Oh that? That's glider prozac, I got a whole colony in here!"
I'm a skeptic big time on this one but I do have their odor eliminator spray and I didn't think that would work either and it does wonderfully. I don't use it for the cage though like they say to use it but I use it around the outside of their cage while they are sleeping - mainly on my couch and carpet since my gliders are right next to my couch. I figured it would be the safest air freshner you could use and its great so who knows? I'm to chicken to use it in their cage. I figure I can just clean their cage instead.
I don't have a big problem with the glider smell but the odor eliminator spray works wonders when I spray it around my cat boxes. I have used it around the glider cages but since I do not really find their smell objectionable I do not use it there very often.
I have the odor eliminator too and spray it on and around the cage no problems. I also have their cage cleaner and spray on glider shampoo and conditioner (haven't used it much, but I figured it would be a good thing to have if they got into something and the conditioner smells like eucs and keeps them shiny and you can massage it on them during bonding time). I'm getting ready to order some of this and I'll let you know how it goes!
I just might have to try this. Dizzy doesn't use the wheel, and so his nails have to be trimmed by hand. It's difficult for both of us. Maybe ... I dunno ... just maybe ... hmmm
It's in the mail! I'll keep you guys posted, maybe try to take a video of it in action. While I was at suncoast I splurged on canned crickets, yoggies, and a glider magnet for the fridge at our new apartment. Gotta love $6 per order shipping! I also got a genji tent for play time! I've not been able to do a lot of bonding or playtime with my gliders during college. :( They had each other for company but I'm looking forward to bonding and play time every night after graduation (May 17th)!
Very interesting. I also use the odor spray. Not a lot but when I know we are having guests over. But for 12.27 I would think it would be worth a try if u have a wild glider/gliders. I just hope that there is no chemicals in it that could hurt them.
Oh P.S. I wonder u guys talking about using it on your husbands. I wonder will it work on wifes?
Well, I ordered some too just to see how it would work. Lisa at SunCoast has been a real help to me with questions and help with other problems and I have found that the Pure Ayre does work at taking care of the odors. I will let you all know how it works here. I have attached a pic (or at least attempted to attach) of our gang.
they are so precious. Now I'm anxious to see how this will work out. I have 2 three year old rescues I would love to be able to make bonding easier on them and for me
i'm completely intrigued by this... i never would have guessed that something like a spray could help with bonding and calmness. i'm especially surprised that people would buy into it so much! normally i'd assume that it would be me who fell for a product like that and i'd find out later it was a scam... but if everyone else has faith it would work, i'd love to see if it's effective! keep us posted!

Well, I received my bottle of the spray today. I sprayed some on my hands this afternoon and opened up the door flap on the corner pouch. Leo was awake and sniffed and licked my fingers, no bites! He still did not want to come right out into my hand but he rarely does during the middle of the day. I got busy on the computer and had shut the light off in the living room and my wife fell asleep on the couch. I did not turn the light back on and just heard the gang jumping around the cage. I am a little late feeding them and they were waitihng in the bottom corner of the cage for me to bring dinner. I brought it and just before I put the bowls in the cage, I sprayed the stuff on my hands and let it dry. The four of them followed my hand around the front of the cage sniffing but when I put my hands in with the food, they still bit me. The three boys have always tended to bite, mainly when they want to be released. they did hesitate to bite and may not have if I had already put their food in the cage. Our female does not bite and was more open to me picking her up before she could eat so I have hopes that it may yet work but not tried when they are hungry. I am going to try again tomorrow and will keep all advised. Sorry, long-winded.
I got mine today! I am going to spray it on their bonding pouches and put them in them tomorrow. THEN later when I am holding them and playing with them I will spray it on my hands. I will keep everyone posted on how it goes. Shelby will be our challenge. She is my most crabby and nippy glider.
