Which is a better choice for someone that has never owned a sugar glider?

A 11 week old or a 2 year old?

Honestly i would say the eleven week old one because it would probably be easier to bond with considering it has not had that long of a time with a previous owner!
I bought older ones (3 years) And its kinda harder to bond with them cuz they were with the other person for so long

I think it just differs from glider to glider. I have read on her that some people find it easier for young and some people had more success with older. They are just like peoplen their personalities greatly differ.

i think either are ok. because the 2 year old has problably been handled by humans before so hes prob a little use to that. my male was handled by a human an it took him no less than a week to get use to me an he stopped tryin to bite me. BUT the 11 week old is also good because there starting young and will grow on you. so either way =) which ever you prefer i think every glider is different. =)

More depends on the particular glider's personality than its age.
