I have had my gliders 6 days now and have them in the bonding pouch for the 1st time. 1st dumb question- mesh facing toward or away from me? if you could here the one crabbing at me right now.. do i touch them thru the pouch? cradle them with my hand? seems to piss her off more. Any advice appreciated.

You can have the screen facing out or in I believe. If she doesn't seem to like being able to see out the screen you could face in inward. Mine also seemed to feel safer if I tucked the pouch in my shirt. It helped them feel more safe and kept the pouch from swinging around so much. I gently held and petted mine through the pouch. It seemed to calm them down. At first they would crab at the touch, but then they calmed down and went to sleep. It takes time for them to get used to the bonding pouch, the noises and your touch. Mine crabbed a lot at first. Now they barely ever do.

They get used to it after a while. My WFB HATED it when I first got her. But she also was not used to being handled. I used to get the bonding pouch out and just sit as STILL as I possibly could when she was in it. If my stomach moved from breathing she would crab my ear off!! She's used to me now though and is much less cranky.

It takes time.
