we have been using newspaper for the bottom of the cage. we thought of switching to puppy pads but want to know what everyone else uses 1st.

I use newspaper. The black and white colors only. I have children to feed too so I try to keep my costs as low as I can. Some people use fleece on the bottom and then change it out and wash the dirty one. that seems like a good idea too.

I like them because they are washable - and they dont stink like fleece and newspaper does.
