Meeko was given the shot of convenia and has been seperated from his brother since March 1st!

He still has a scab and it feels hard where the wound was. is that scar tissue? and How long until they can be together?! I let them be in their pouch together in my lap.. I feel like this is taking such a long time!

you can let them play together out of the cage under your supervision, but don't let them stay in the cage alone together because the one will want to "groom" the scab.

A hard scab is not always a good sign. Sometimes, it can hide an abscess underneath. Your vet should be able to look at the scab and tell whether or not is is "healthy" tissue or whether it needs to be removed so new tissue can grow.

If it is a small wound, it can heal and fur can grow back in a month or a month and a half. You can post pictures if you want so we can see...

I called Val. She told me to try to let them be in the cage tonight and jsut check them.

They are fine as of now. Im going to check them every couple hours.
If i can manage to get a photo of it I will, its hard to get a glider to let you lift up their chin haha

Do you have an update on them? Hopefully, everything is going well.

you can also put some polysporin(regular kind as the pain kind will numb their tongue)to help it along.
