chunloh, to answer your question about getting them to use it-you could try putting only the bottom part of the container there for a night to see if they would eat out of it then, in case they just aren't used to the idea of it having food. Or they might just really like eating at the top. From what I've see on here it is common for gliders to prefer their food high, but mine don't seem to mind it on the bottom. They've never had a problem with it, so I don't have any experience getting them used to it.
