Hey, would love to come, can't wait to meet my neighbors. I live on the Eastern Shore of MD and can carpool with DE maybe.

I wish I could do the Jan. 10th gathering but I have to work. Can't make that one. I'd love to however go to the big gathering. As I am a no talented toy of pouch maker I can't help there but would be willing to help out some other way. Let me know a date (way in advance so I can take off from work) and what I can do to contribute and I'd love to come. Let me know what I can donate or help with (any ideas anyone has) and just PM me here. Can't wait to meet all my friends from GG.

OHHH! I havent been checking this much cuz i've been busy, but i'm excited! SO where is this being held at? And what time? And are we still doing it on the 10th? I will come and help set up since i wanted to do it origanlly but couldnt due to lack of space...that is if you want me to help set up. I do feel sorta nervous about going to a strangers house for a party, full of people ive never met, half of whom i've never talked to...does anyone else feel this way? But i'm really excited about it, and feel like its gona be soo much fun and educational as well...dont mind me rambling...my bf just made me parniod...hahaa...anyone who needs me to get in touch about things either pm me or send me an email at juli_rockz@yahoo.com and i live in towson maryland for those females who need a ride.

Maybe instead of meeting at someone's house the first time, you could all meet at a restuarant. That way, no one has to be to uncomfortable. Of course you couldnt bring your gliders - but that probable isnt a good idea anyway.

If you do all plan to bring your gliders, make CERTAIN ALL gliders that are coming have recently been vet checked and had fecals done!!!

Ok, We're doing it!!!
Our 1st Md. meeting will be this Sunday, 3:00 at Starbucks on Rt 40 & Rolling Road. If we get a larger group & need more room, we can transfer across the street to the Double T Diner. It's right off the beltway so we can't get lost. Seems most coming are around Baltimore so thats more centrally located.
And yes Rita, you are right. I have heard of problems coming from the gatherings and if a glider from PPP has not been to the vet yet, (shame on you) then parasites or diseases can be passed on. So I won't be packing on Sunday. Just not worth the chance. Thanks for bringing that up Rita. Can't wait to meet you guys!
Oh, we will tell the employees to send you our way if you ask for the Glider Group. (we will be the happy looking group) :) :)

And Filly, don't worry. This is just the starter meeting. Just to plan for the real thing this spring/summer. We will have other that you can attend. After all, we can really use an ethologist, in our glider group! So we'll be sure to have some in which you are present!

We will have Games, Speakers, Silent Auction, Door Gifts, vendors and Photo Section (will be ongoing during the Day) Activities and Face painting For Children.

OK guys, it's official! Now how many are going?
Filly47, are you still in? And skittlesandpeanut, you've been waiting a long time for this.
We are taking donations for Goody Bags, Door Prizes, Raffle Items. These can be anything from toys and pouches to toy making parts...whatever.
We have speakers and vendor all lined up. Only thing needed is a food vendor. Anyone have a hotdog cart and want to make some money?
We will also have cages for sale. We will have both single and double cages set up. And some great silent wheels for the cages. As well as toys, pouches, perches etc. for sale.
So bring lots of suggie dough to spoil your baby.
Our proceeds will be going to our largest animal rescue here in Howard County, FRISKYS. They are getting ready to celebrate 40 yrs, on the 80 acres that has been functioning on nothing but donations, the entire time. And I happen to know that Colleen, the owner and manager, has never taken 1 pay ck, in that 40 yr spand.
So lets show our love and support for our suggies, Miss Colleen and all the animals there at the Santury) and bring lots and lots of money!!!!
SO WHO ALL IS GOINg?
