my gliders joey has been oop for about a week now and ive noticed shes hissing when I touch her pouch area and when the joey trys to nurse. Could she be sore from the joey? Ive doubled her HPW but im not sure why she would be hurting.

She probably is sore from nursing. Sometimes people hear mom "singing" which in reality is mom trying to dislodge the joey from her nipple or readjust because she's uncomfortable. I imagine it makes you pretty sore just like humans. I wouldn't touch her pouch area. If you see swelling, redness, discharge or anything abnormal, it could be an infection and she'd need to be seen by a vet.

i'm not sure if this would pertain to sugar gliders but I know with other animals mamary glands they can get what is called mastitus. and thats the inflimation or infection of the mamary glands when an excess of milk production is either produced or not used up by the baby. It can be extremely painfull for the mother, i've had cows reject calves because of it.

I would be curious as to whether or not it is mastitus??
Does any one more experience know if this is possible in nursing gliders?

I believe anything with mammary glands and that actively produces milk can get Mastitis. It's normal for mom to be sore. I know my girls were. With Mastitis you'd probably see redness and engorged nipples. She probably wouldn't like it much, but it would probably also be very warm to the touch. Obviously, I'm not a vet so if you think there may be any kind of infection, be sure to take her in. They can also get yeast infections in their pouches. Is she still nursing?

yes she is till nursing. but when she does she makes hissing noises(or some call it singing) and shakes like hes hurting her. Im not sure if this means she could reject him. or if its just a normal thing for moms.

From my experience, it's normal. I saw both of my girls do this while nursing. Just keep an eye out to make sure she's still nursing. If you weren't sure, you could get a digital scale and make sure the joey is gaining weight.

Sounds like she is nursing to me. I would still keep and eye out on her pouch. If any of the s/s like kyro said show up I would take her to the vet. Also I would buy some booster milk just in case.
