I haven't been on here in a while. I am going to school online now and I spend a lot of time doing school work. I got a new job at Verizon Wireless! I haven't started yet but I am excited. My husband wants me to get rid of all my gliders and I don't really want to. I know that I haven't spent all the time that I was before with them but I do still spend time with them. What can I do?

Sad! Just talk to him.. crying helps with my husband. =] Haha. Joking. But really, there's nothing you can do except talk to him. Y'all are both equals in the relationship, so he can't just tell you to get rid of them. Has he told you why he wants you to do this?

If you have one large cage with a colony of 3+, your gliders will be fine without much attention from you other than feeding and watering and cleaning. If you can manage that and also give attention on the weekend, then you are doing ok. Most owners do not play with them nightly to be honest. And that is certainly moreso the case when you start having numbers above 5 or so. With 17 in my keep, they are lucky to get a hand fed sunflower seed or a pat on the head daily.

Right now I have 4 in one cage and 5 in the other. As far as him wanting them gone it's because he doesn't like feeding them. That's a lame excuse if you ask me.
