Hi! Just want to get your opinion on something please?

The last 3 days or so Chocolate has been hyperactive. He whizzes around his cage faster than the road runner on speed - you actually battle to see him!
He started HPW last week & is eating very well. He eats the HPW better than the BML & is eating his fruit & veg very well too.

So what could be causing this sudden behaviour?

Mine are almost all like that LOL I call them my pinballs. How old is he? Is he getting time out of his cage to play? Is he alone?

Chocolate is about 5 months now. :D Yes he has and yes he is still on his own, as I'm waiting to hear from the Breeder.

The last night or so he's been less hyper. Could the hyperness have been due to the diet change? i.e could he be reacting better to the HPW as opposed to the BML?

Last night I thought meeko was going to fly right out of his wheel and shoot to the mooon he was running so fast. He is a hyper little guy too. He also barked at me while i was RIGHT there. It scared the crap out of me haha

OMG..that is sooo funny. When I try to explain to people how hyper "Carly" is that's how I describe her..."like a rat on crack". LOL

Nope, been trying to find a place in The States that is prepared to send one to South Africa for me, as we don't get them here.

Ohana is like that all the time. She's my hyperactive demon.
Priss is my princess. She's VERY ladylike, and as hyper as she can be, she's not nearly as crazy as Ohana.

Poolnymph, if you can't find anyone to send you a wheel, let me know. If nothing else, you can buy it, have it sent to me, and I'll mail it to you myself if you cover the additional shipping charges... There is more than one way around that problem! Lol!

Whichever you choose, get the 12-inch wheel -- especially with two gliders. I prefer the Stealth, it's roomier and my boys play leapfrog in it.

I got my wodent from a dealer on Ebay. But I would suggest you go with the stealth if you don't mind the extra expense.
