Hello, everyone!

I’m currently new to this forum and I need some help bonding my Gliders.
My first female was a rehome and she is as sweet as can be, her name is Blossom and she is around two years old. She had to be rehomed because her friend died in her previous home. I had her for several months before I could get her some friends

Two days ago I got a sugar glider pair (One male and one female). The boy is a mosaic and his name is Mojo Jojo, he is around two years old but quite shy and crabs at everything. When I brought Blossom to meet the pair Mojo Jojo was doing really good, him and Blossom were grooming at each other but then later crabbed at her when she tried to get in his wheel with him. He is really shy and doesn’t come out of the pouch often and crabs at me or the slightest movement.

But the female Buttercup won’t have it with Blossom. Blossom is so sweet and just wants to sniff her and follow her around, but every time Buttercup is hostile and keeps on wanting to fight with Blossom. I had to take her off Blossom, and I tried today and we lasted longer in bonding time only because every time Buttercup tried to get to close to Blossom I would put my hand between them to seperate them. But Buttercup was still aggressive. The first time I had them in both of their pouches (Blossom in one and Buttercup & Mojo Jojo in the other.) Buttercup was aggressive and started to fight with Blossom.

So the second time I just put Buttercup in the bathtub with Blossom, so it was 1 on 1. While Blossom was just trying to be sweet Buttercup still insisted being aggressive, I also removed the pouches because Buttercup seems to be pouch aggressive. I’ve also been switching their pouches.

Please read the introduction instruction, please try to follow these instructions.

There are other websites with more information.
some glider owners have different ways of introducing gliders.

But in the end of the day, gliders are territorial animals, and if a strange or foreign glider comes into their territory they may defend that territory to the DEATH. They will try in the wild to chase off the stranger, in a closed area they may decide they have to kill the intruder.

So please look up more information, several websites make this information available before you put the gliders together again.
