Just recently adopted two sugar gliders from a woman and can immediately tell she never has clipped their nails. Any helpful tips to cut their nails? I can get about one or two on a foot done before they start freaking out

It's tricky...

Mine have never liked getting their nails trimmed and get spooked when they hear the nail cutting noise.

Get a pair of small animal nail trimmers (easier to use than small human ones). Or small human ones if you can't get animal ones. Get a towel or a bonding bag and cover them in it do they won't bite you. Then gently find a foot and trim some toes.

You can try treats in the bag as well to keep them busy.

this is how we do it. they do tend to want to move around and get away, but they never HATE you afterwards, I hold them tight but safely and my wife cuts the nails. having someone that can cut the nails quicker makes it better too. but we have
lots of nails to cut.
