1. get a good and healthy diet for them. a few snacks.

2. spend time with them, spend more time with them. if needed let them slowly
bond with you, it might take time if they are not friendly with the very large
humans yet. take AS MUCH TIME AS NEEDED TO BOND, DO NOT RUSH.

3. keep them in safe large cage, give them one or two quality glider safe running wheels.

spend time with them.

so he will need time to adjust to you. and maybe a few bonding tricks,
many videos on youtube. but in the end will they be able to trust you,
that is the question.

out of 6 gliders I still have 1 that stays in cage, will take treats and
even get on my shoulder for a treat, but other then that wants nothing to do
with me. but I have 5 others to handle so I don't push her much anymore, she
is happy with the colony, I believe.

two popular diets. critterlove and BML.

critterlove bowl #1. the staple (powder mixed with egg/honey/bee pollen)
bowl #2. the salad. fruits and veggies and lettuce.
on critterlove website is a list of what to buy, 5 different salads available.
all the calcium and protein they need is in the staple bowl #1.

OHPW is same thing as critterlove, but staple (bowl#1) is made with quality Wombaroo high protein powder from australia and is slightly cheaper.
then you can add same salad as critterlove in bowl #2.
I actually have some critterlove instant and some wombaroo in the house.

BML
As far as I understand you make the staple from an ingredient list and put
in bowl #1. then add fruits and veggies from a BML list for bowl #2.

there are also several other diets around. TPG diet. the AWD - australian
wombaroo diet.

I use critterlove/Ohpw for 8 gliders, and have a system for making the fruit and
veggies that has streamlined the time it takes to make it up, at first it seemed
like a lot. but I got extra freezer space and make in bulk so I take about
1 to 2 hours to make 6-8 litres of OHPW and 15 minutes for 2.5 gallons of
frozen veggies and 1 hour or more for 2.5 gallon of fruits. fruits and veggies
last for 2 weeks, 8 litres ohpw lasts 6 weeks.
