Hey, so I've been really busy in the last week or two, and haven't been paying my sugar gliders as much attention as usual. I kept forgetting to clean the cage and now there's rust on the bottom level and I don't know what to do! I really want to look into every other option before getting a new cage because that would be really upsetting to do to my family right now.
Are there any non-toxic ways of getting rid of the rust that is safe for sugar gliders? Is it necessary for me to replace the powder coating afterward?

Thanks in advance, - Lenesrea

Wire brush the cage where its rusty really well, repaint with rustoleum appliance.

Youll prolly need a temp cage for a few days the repainted cage needs to sit and cure a few days before the gliders can go back in it
