Hello all!

Im fairly new to owning gliders and have had my two rescue Boys for about 6 months now. I did a lot of research before I got them and things have been going great for the most part. My only issue, which really isn't much of an issue, is that there's a lot of mess outside of the cage. I don't mind cleaning the cage itself, but I have their cage in an area where it is difficult to move for cleaning around and behind it. I have a cage cover that falls over the back and sides, and I usually put a blanket over the front during the daytime so it's not too bright for them, but there's still a lot of mess left over all around the cage to the point where I'm cleaning it every day so my dogs don't try to eat it.

I've tried using the fabric birdcage seed catchers, which helped a little, but I was wondering if you guys had any recommendations or ideas to help with the mess outside of the cage. I'm considering buying them a new cage with a built in seed catcher, but I'm not sure it will help much. Any advice on this?

i suggest don't cover the cage front, let it be bright so they will see its
daytime and sleep in the pouch. putting them in dark during the day will only
confuse their nocturnal setup.
