Well, I know that my two joeys are only 4 weeks OOP. If I never took the pouch out to interact with them, I would never have seen them. They haven't been out on their own yet. * wish they'd hurry up! *

:( i dunno. it looked like spaz has an interest in this site, not just 5 posts, lots of pics in albums of cage and toys he has for his gliders. i only see whats in this post but it may not be what we think. maybe he just got the parents and the baby came with. either way i hope we hear how the baby is and what the vet said.

No - he didnt just get the parents. They have also had an older set of joeys. I talked to them in the chat room.

Several have offered to help this little girl. I, too, hope they come back.

They said they havent been spending any time with the gliders, which is why they just notice her. The parents have had other joeys.

OMG...you cannot believe this is a "rare" glider!!! Please surrender it or take it to a vet ASAP...that is one very sick glider!!!

I'm also willing to get this joey cared for. I'm not an official rescuer but I do foster care for one of our local rescues. I have a wonderful AAHA certified exotic vet ten minutes from me and have one short term cage open right now. I'm in KY if that helps any. I wouldn't want a thing in return but to know this little one gets better and receives the care it deserves.

I think some of the replys were very accusative on what was going on. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't reply. It would be nice to know what happen, but if I got some of the replys that were made after asking for help, I wouldn't come back.

If you would have spoken to them in the chat room, you would have had a totally different feeling about this.... I wasnt trying to accuse them of anything. They flat out told it like it was. They have a breeding paid who had two joeys few months ago. They do not have time to spend with them and havent for several months so they didnt know the little hairless girl existed until yesterday. They are getting ready to sell all their gliders due to lack of time to spend with them. I am hoping they will give this little girl to someone who will get her proper vet care. I have also offered to take her.

Please come back and give us a report on her. We are all worried.

Okay i have read threw this all and I want an update on how the glider is doing. Where is Spazz? I would really like to know what the vet had to say and what they are doing about it. That is not safe for a glider. I know I had a hairless rat but sugar gliders need fur!

If they lacked time to play with their gliders, they may also lack time to check in on here. I think that may be it, but there can also be a whole lot of other reasons, too. I just hope they come back and give us an update, and that it's a positive one.

I would hate to think they are not updating because they don't plan to do anything? That is too terrible to contemplate. I am in NC and would help in any way I can.

Anyone heard anything yet, or know if this person has read the PM's yet? I understand they are busy, but if they came here for advise, it seems that they would come back to see what people had to say. Or at least check their email, this should show them that they have a message from someone on here. I know that when I was PMing Rita, and she would respond to me, it would show me in my email that I had a message from her. Just wondering if anyone knew anything yet. Really worried bout the baby.

this is so sad and heartbreaking. hopefully they have taken him/her to the vet by now,i hope. maybe he will come back with good news soon, or atleast reply to someones pm with an update.
