I know someone that just bought a glider from the 'Sandman'. I believe she is one of the ones that was fed a bunch of bull! The advice she received about the diet, and age are all wrong!
I seem to recall some things said about this breeder. Can yall bring me up to date with this one?

This is not someone you want to purchase gliders from. I dont think I really need to say anymore...

What I do know is don't buy a Glider from them!

There is much information about them. The factually confirmed details are extensive.

They are NOT someone to by a goldfish from - let alone a glider.

Everyone, I'm actually looking for facts. Something I can provide to people that ask. Sandman is at Traders Village here in Dallas, and she's not the first one I have met that purchased one from him. Thanks for your time :o)

I've been there and have seen as many as twenty gliders in a small cage not even big enough for one. His ball pythons are either wild caught or their living conditions so bad that their full of parisites and ticks. Even his shop smells bad. I've heard he has over a thousand gliders and is somewhat like that "other" mill. He is one I'd like to see shut down.

Watch out though, there is a user here named sandman that actually makes high quality pouches and cage sets.

Okay I know a breeder who down here in TX is called Sandman. He is a really good guy and gives great advice and great pets (got my little Jester from there) and they come with cage and food. But he sells his at Trader's Village on weekends. I have never heard of another Sandman.

Please know that many people aren't as lucky as you with this mill. Thanks for your input though :)

I saw this post on here and know it was a few years old. I had to put my own info on this..sandman at trader's village is a crook! Thats where we got Chewy from and I regret the day I ever met that man! He should be banned from ever having any pets in his care!

The Sandman in Texas sells gliders and other exotic animals at the Sugar Shack in Traders Village located in Grand Prairie, Texas and wherever else. The jerk in GP, Texas is a scum... right up there with PPP.

I got my glider from the Sandman at Trader's Village last summer. I guess I must have just had a really good experience. He gave me a pamphlet with information on how to care for my glider. Got a start out cage and pellet food, but was told they needed more than that. He didn't say that they can become lonely if alone, which I wish I had known, but wasn't a problem for my little Fred. He was very friendly and I talked to him about gliders for about 30 mins before purchasing mine. My glider was healthy, very active, and sweet with the exception of nips on my fingers which is to be expected.

Wish more people had experiences like mine.

Even if people had more positive experiences - he is still a mill breeder.

To me the biggest problem with the mill breeders is that they actively perpetuate over-population. They encourage anybody to buy gliders, with no screening. I would say the GLIDER lucked out with you, Asher. Most people who get gliders from mill breeders don't stick around for an education!

I am sorry everyone, I have to disagree with you. I have purchased several gliders from The sandman in Traders village and they have always been a good breed and have never had a problem with him or his gliders.

Consider yourself fortunate then.
