What a little doll baby!!!!!

Hey! I got my new little girl today (8wks) & your pic has me wondering~~~ When do they start crabbing? Obviously my Mala CRABS! Does your baby crab now at this early age????

They can crab pretty much from the minute they are oop. He hasn't been crabbing though. If they are handled as soon as they are oop every day for even just a little bit then they get used to being held and they don't crab.

BTW...it looks like this baby is either a Platinum or a Champagne. He has both hets in his background.

sorry, but yes he is a standard WF. A light boy- he'll be very pretty. But platinum and "champagne" are born much lighter than this. =/ I don't even have to look at the lines, just by looking at him that he is a very pretty and rather light WF.

Doesn't matter. He's beautiful no matter what color he is.

What a sweetie. Guess there is some debate on what he may be, I don't know anything about that, but I think he is just the cutest little thing I ever laid my eyes on. LOL, until the next joey pops up that is. They have such place in my heart. Love him, thank for sharing the pic.

Rande just so you understand the background, lori rescued a big group of breeder and had joeys arriving that were in pouch when she got them. They were living in horrid conditions and fed rotten cat food. This little guy like the lue before him is stained from mom eating so badly during incubation. So she is telling the truth with saying what he has in his blood and might be.

This boy is not from Lori's rescues. He is from her leu and mosaic pair.

And I asked RandE to come give her opinion- which I trust absolutely 100% - about the joey color, because Lori asked me my opinion. I told Lori that I would ask one who I consider an expert - thus I asked RandE to come here.

He has normal pouch staining. Not any kind of "bad diet" staining.

What gliders are these out of? I'd like to see the lineage. Pretty baby.

Lori, I was on your site trying to figure out the parents and I wanted to ask you something about your lineages.

First of all. Your "new" leu to be paired with Pike on your site - her lineage is bogus. There are no "new" leu lines, at least not since the Magnolia line. So how your Alixus can have been born to Jackson and Diane with a 0% COI is impossible. Jackson's parents are listed as Noel (leu) and Becka (100% het) with no futher lineage isn't right. To breed these leu's without proper lineage is down right dangerous and careless if you ask me.

I see this pair also had Mary Kate, who was paired with Olsen (who also has questionable lineage by the way - he's "plat" lineage appears out of now where with the only offspring being in Olsen's lineage all the way to him, also a Mac & Cheese pairing without the mother listed?) to create a bunch of lue's out of that bogus "new" leu line lineage you have for the above mentioned gliders.

So which parents is this joey out of, because of the gliders listed in the Database AND your site, I cannot piece together how that would be so if you weren't breeding the leu "resuces" you got in.

I talked with Lori about the lines being strange on the Pet Database. She's working with Priscilla to correct it.

Actually Alden, as much as I know you looooooove drama there is no talk on any other forum. I do pop in here every once in a while and was here quite a bit when the whole "rescue" was going on, I dont have to post to be a member here, and unlike some people I only post when I have something to say.

The baby is out of Olsen and WHOM.

And FWIW, the lines aren't "strange" they are BOGUS. There is no such thing as the lines listed there. None. Olsen came from which breeder then?

Are you kidding me? Alden already told you that I've emailed Priscilla to fix an error in the lineage. The issue is that I purchased 21 gliders from a breeder. We called it a rescue at the time because I was immediately rehoming them. I got a lot of flack over the fact that I paid money for them. But they came with their lineages and I have taken that for the truth. If it isn't then it will get fixed. Mary Kate is one of them.
However, the issue is that I have a glider named OLSEN...not the one I purchased in July who is a Leu. The one I purchased in July is OLSON. I have not yet put his lineage in the database because I was told that he was actually registered already under another name and I'm waiting to hear back about what name he was registered under. The error is that someone else who purchased joeys out of OLSON and Mary Kate FROM THE BREEDER (they never stepped paw in my home) registered them under OLSEN.
I am not breeding rescues...however, every one of the females except 2 were pregnant when I got them. So, yes, there will be joeys from those gliders.
As far as OLSEN's lineage...he came from Canada. I'm not sure of an issue with his lineage except that 2 gliders are listed as Classic Gray when they aren't.
So, Kinue, you are questioning the lineage of Allie and she has nothing to do with this baby that is posted on here. Allie is out of OLSON and Mary Kate. This baby has nothing to do with them.

First of all Lori - Do not assume I am an idiot. I can READ just fine and did indeed read what Alden said about PP and the Database. That is why I asked further questions because if there is an error in the Database a simple answer would have sufficed.

Second - I DONT CARE ABOUT THE RESUCE/PURCHASE! Okay? I dont care if you purchased them and want to breed their eyeballs out. Really, I dont care and I dont know WHY you would come out with that attitude like you are being attacked. There is no reason to get defensive about a few simple questions. I am a breeder of both leu and plats and the geentics of gliders is a passion of mine, so I was curious. Genetics interest me, NOT drama (go see your friend Alden for drama if you want some).

Im not asking about Alli, Im asking about Alixus. HER lineage in the database is the one I listed above. If there is an issue with it why would you link it on your site in the first place?

Your Olsen, Olson is confusing Lori. The problem with Alixus' lineage has nothing to do with Olson besides the fact that Mary Kate is listed out of the same parents as Alixus. Mary Kate was paired to Olsen (or who ever IS in the database) they were indeed part of the whole breeder purchase. So... It isnt a far cry to wonder if Jackson and Diane were also part of that as well being Alixus AND Mary Kate's parents.

If Im totally wrong here and there's a explanation Im missing please do tell. Who bred Alixus? Jackson, her father, has NO verfiable lineage and has NOTHING to do with Olsen or Olson or whatever.

Im aware of quite a few breeders in Canada, and I'd be curious to know the parents at least of the father of THIS baby since there is a mix up. Also the mother, since she hasn't been mentioned once.

Since this isn't about drama, and no one posting cares - let's just go back to admiring the cute little boy!
