Sorry again. I got home last Weds and worked USF on Thurs then FD on Friday. Well Friday afternoon I started to get dizzy and some sob and chest pain. The crew took me to the hosp. My EKG was abnormal, so Sat I had a heart cath. Been resting for past few days, was going to go back to work today but Workers comp said no. I have to go tomorrow for more tests. So I will be a hit and a miss. I will keep you guys informed. I the mean time say some prayers for me. Thanks Jerry.
THEHYLAND Zippy Glidershorts FL, USA 4774 Posts Well, so far yesterday I went back to the worker comp DR. While there my heart rate was at 44 bpm. He didn't like it even knowing that I run. So he is sending me to the worker comps cardiologist for more test, not sure when that is. So in the mean time I can't work either job. So I have been resting some and getting some things done around the house. The bummer part is I am getting board. Yes I am a workaholic. The other part is I am/was going on another vacation with one of my sons. It is a father son diving trip to the keys, we go lobstering for a week. So far I still plan on going, but who knows. For now I feel fine, just board. Thanks for your prayers. So I went back to him. I finaly went back to work yesterday, and with my luck we had live fire training all day, everything went well no problems. So were am I. I have to wear a monitor for about a week and have a couple of other tests done. I can't do that till I get back from vacation. I know you guys are wondering why is he going on vacation. No one can tell me what is going on. I think I have a rhythm problem when I run or work realy hard. Only wearing a monitor for a week will tell. So right now I would say no real emergency. Besides I'm going on vacation with my PMD . I leave tomorrow, two of my other sons didn't/couldn't go, you know the work thing, so they get to stay home with mom. When I get back and have the test done I will post the results. THEHYLAND Zippy Glidershorts FL, USA 4774 Posts Well I back home. We got in late on Thursday. Yesterday I had to get alot of stuff done. I tried to get the monitor yesterday but they only do them at 9 am so I will try again on Tuesday. I also have to have two other test done. Then my number three son is having surgery on the 19th had to work out that stuff for him. He is the one that went with me diving. After his surgery he will be laid up for about 3 months. Long story short he has sunken chest and they will brake all his ribs and rework them and put it back on. Thus so he has an normal size chest. On the vacation it was great, we went diving in Key West for lobsters. It was a father son trip. The water was great the reef was wonderfull. This is the first trip I didn't see any sharks or eels. All in all each person got to bring home 30 lobsters. Now it's back to the grind. THEHYLAND Zippy Glidershorts FL, USA 4774 Posts Monday at about 6pm. To night will be eat out night after work.
Sunday we go to our oldest sons house to eat. So no lobster till Monday. THEHYLAND Zippy Glidershorts FL, USA 4774 Posts Ok no lobsters last night, some people were on vacation. I don't want anybody to miss out. The plan is for Sunday. Micheal's sergury is set for tomorrow at 0730 so keep him in your prayers. I don't know why but he is happy about getting all his ribs broken.  I know the after effect is what he is hopeing for. If I get time I will post the outcome tomorrow night. THEHYLAND Zippy Glidershorts FL, USA 4774 Posts Just got home about a 1/2 hour ago. Was at the hospital from 0500 till about 1/2 ago, so I'm tired. Micheals sergury took five hours and he is hurting but feeling ok, Glad it's done. His three other brothers and our daughter in law will be there most of the day tomorrow. Friday I ill be there most of the day and my wife about 1/2 she has to work. Son in short he is doing better then expected. Thanks for the prayers and your support. Jerry and family. THEHYLAND Zippy Glidershorts FL, USA 4774 Posts Well it's been three days so far. Michael is doing great. He has been up and walking around. His chest hurts alot but when you have all of your ribs broken I guess it will. Myself doing ok I get to wear the monitor on Monday, so we will see. Today wife is at hosp. and other sons will go up. I will go up when I get off work. THEHYLAND Zippy Glidershorts FL, USA 4774 Posts MICHAEL came home Sunday night. Still sore, he will be for couple of months. Long story short. He had each one of his ribs cut and some take off the a bar placed behind the stern and that also broken in two places. Then the stern was raised up flat with the rest of the chest. His chest looks great. I have stayed home with him all day and kept checking on him. He finally got out of bed at about 2pm. I told him if he kept sleeping he's not going to sleep tonight. Well most of the day, I went to the doctor and am wearing a monitor. It comes off tomorrow. So far everybody is doing great.
